Fundamental changes are occurring throughout the world's atmosphere. Since the beginning of the industrial revolution, the release of carbon dioxide (CO2) from humankind's industrial and agricultural activities has increased the amount of CO2 in the atmosphere. it is only in this current generation that the impacts of these greenhouse gasses have become clear. And the consequences are dire.
carbon capture for storage (ccs)
is the darling of the green energy advocates
from a short term environmental perspective this makes sense. take the co2 out of the air and put it away somewhere (sequester it) never to be seen again. from an economic perspective ccs is wasting a valuable resource.
carbon capture for use ( CCU) takes a different approach. in a ccu system the co2 is transformed into a useable product with economic value equal to or greater than the cost of capture and transformation the drawback being that the carbon will eventually return. when the economics work, the capture and transformation process will exceed the emissions creating an overall carbon negative cycle

we can put these plant in the middle of the ocean where we can power them with subsea geothermal energy. to produce hydrocarbon fuels
why isnt the world rushing to deploy these systems? a viable renewable energy source to power the process is missing. a source we provide from subsea geothermal sources.
savusol is a revolution in alternative energy. a circular carbon economy is the economical alternative to wasteful sequestering and job killing regulations.
